This 1/4 scale figure of 2B is impressive in size, standing at approximately 43 cm tall.
Posed gracefully with the White Contract sword in hand, the figure exudes an imposing yet elegant aura, capturing 2B’s signature stance in a natural and dynamic way.
The body of the figure is crafted from PVC and ABS, but its biggest selling point lies in the real-fabric kimono.
The prototype of this kimono was crafted by Ayumi Usuyama. The furisode sleeves and obi are made from traditional brocade fabric.
The overall tailoring, craftsmanship, and texture are impressively well-executed.
In terms of design inspiration, this kimono subtly incorporates elements of 2B’s original gothic black dress, ensuring it harmonizes with the game’s aesthetic. Unlike traditional kimonos that often use gold embroidery, this figure deliberately omits gold accents to maintain 2B’s signature monochromatic theme.
The silver-white obi fabric complements 2B’s platinum hair, further enhancing the cohesive color palette.
Additionally, the kimono showcases elegant “Unryū” (rising cloud) patterns, adding an extra touch of sophistication to the piece.
Underneath the kimono, 2B’s iconic thigh-high black boots and blindfold are faithfully replicated, maintaining her distinctive character design. The paint application is top-notch, ensuring a high-quality finish.
With a large 1/4 scale and the use of meticulously crafted real fabric, it’s no surprise that this figure is priced higher than previous F:NEX releases.
