This Goku figure assumes his Super Saiyan 2 form, which he managed to achieve some time before the Buu saga during his time training in the afterlife. Despite his usage of this form being brief in comparison to his other Super Saiyan counterparts, we should not take it for granted. The Super Saiyan 2 form is still a powerful, iconic transformation for our Saiyan heroes. Who could forget the time when Gohan went into Super Saiyan 2 for the first time against Cell? After more than 20 years since that happened, we sure haven’t yet. The Super Saiyan 2 form holds a special place in the hearts of Dragon Ball fans and we think this studio did a great job recreating its trademark apprance!

Sometimes, I think that all the good things we had in our youth have become memories of growing up. Dragon Ball Z may be old, but it will hold its place as a classic in the anime world.
