Komekko, the protagonist of the interlude in the first volume of the spin-off *Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!*, is the second daughter of Hyoizaburoo and Yuiyui and the younger sister of Megumin. She shares a deep bond with Megumin but has a sharp tongue. Despite her innocent and adorable appearance as a young girl, she possesses the potential to stand on her own, remaining unfazed even when facing demons and the Demon King’s army, leading many to believe she will become a significant figure in the future.
With her parents often away selling magic items, Komekko is left in charge of the house. She is always thinking about food and is happy to share it. In the village, she charms her way into receiving large amounts of food (tributes), earning her the title of “Crimson Demon Clan’s Most Bewitching Little Sister” from Megumin. To satisfy her hunger, she doesn’t hesitate to hunt insects or even the black cat (Chomusuke). Though she raises Chomusuke as instructed by Megumin, she seizes every opportunity to try cooking the cat in a pot.
