Skull Knight – Good Smile Company: Good Smile Company has announced the newest addition in their Figma Series lineup. From the memorable Berserk series, we have the Skull Knight, the mysterious swordsman who saved protagonists Guts and Casca from a very grim fate. Two versions are available: a standard version and a deluxe edition that includes the Skull Horse and the Sword of Beherits. Let’s look into the details of this incredible figure.
This Skull Knight stands at 17 cm tall, making it a notably imposing figure in the Figma line. The silver armor has an excellent aged metal effect, with detailed battle damage. The cloth cape has a wire frame inside, allowing for dynamic posing.
The figure’s articulation is also excellent, and the heavy armor hides the joints in the arms and legs, making poses look visually appealing.
The standard version includes only a sword and shield, which offers limited playability.
The deluxe edition, however, includes a Skull Horse, which significantly elevates the overall display quality. The horse truly completes the set.
The Skull Horse is also intricately crafted, with a bat-winged banshee ornament on the front of its neck. The horse can be mounted on a stand to create a mid-air charging pose.
The deluxe edition also comes with the Sword of Beherits, adorned with thorny vines. The sword is made of translucent material, adding a striking effect.
