Getting excited! The original artwork of “full-body latex suit” by illustrator YD is being turned into a figurine…

Today, I’d like to share with you an upcoming SSR-Figure pre-order called “「Dear My Rubber」Kurokawa Miu.” The original artwork is by the renowned illustrator YD, who has created many pieces, including several that have been turned into figures—though many of them aren’t quite suitable to post here, haha. Still, the original artwork for this figure is definitely worth checking out.

The figure comes in two versions: Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition. The Standard includes Miu wearing a full rubber suit under a jacket, plus a base and one alternate head. The Deluxe Edition, meanwhile, includes two full figures — with one featuring a playful hand-heart pose in an all-rubber look — making it a seriously good deal for collectors.

The overall design is actually quite simple, with no complex special effects or environmental elements. The main focus seems to be on the “full-body latex suit” aesthetic. At a 1/6 scale, the approximate dimensions are H=280mm, W=100mm, and L=100mm. Upon closer inspection, you’ll notice that the outermost layer extends to the upper thighs and features a sock-like design, creating a visual contrast between the matte fabric and the glossy latex sections (the lace trim on the socks is also exceptionally well-crafted).

A fun detail: both versions come with two interchangeable head sculpts, one with a closed mouth and one slightly open — and yes, even the Standard version has both! But honestly, for just a bit more, the Deluxe version gives you a full second figure, so if you’re on the fence, you know which way I’m leaning.

According to the official info, the materials include PVC, ABS, and metal, so there’s no need to worry too much about metal parts feeling plastic. In fact, if you zoom in on the official images, you’ll notice many interesting details in various areas, though it’s not convenient to elaborate further.

The standard edition includes 1 figure, 1 replacement head, 1 base, and 1 lenticular tin badge, while the deluxe edition includes 2 figures, 2 bases, and 1 lenticular tin badge. Expected to ship in Q4 2025, so it won’t be long before she arrives on your shelf.

Fans who are interested can already place their pre-orders. This time, SSR-Figure didn’t go with one of YD’s more revealing designs, but instead chose a concept centered around the allure of a full-body rubber suit. As one fan cleverly put it after seeing the piece: “A full rubber suit is way spicier than plain nudity…”

For fans of rubber-suit aesthetics done right — not overdone — Dear My Rubber: Kurokawa Miu is the figure that hits that sweet spot between seductive and collectible. Whether you’re here for YD’s clean sculpt lines or the glossy shine of full-body latex, this one’s a must-consider. Pre-order now before it slips away.
