As a wildly popular work in recent years, “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” has seen a significant surge in demand for related figurines and merchandise. This time, Kotobukiya has released and crafted a Frieren-themed figurine, which is now available. The actual product feels decent.
The overall quality of this Frieren figure is quite good. Starting with the design, the face looks more heroic, while other aspects haven’t changed much. However, the legs appear significantly longer than before, though in the actual figure, they aren’t dramatically longer—likely due to some visual discrepancy.
Interestingly, while this design might not seem to align with Frieren’s character at first glance, it actually fits her original image quite well. That’s because this is how her face looked in the early stages of the manga—quite delicate. It wasn’t until the middle and later parts of the manga that her face became rounder, mainly due to the art style becoming more relaxed, eventually giving her a broader, rounder face.
Standing at approximately 235mm (with base), this 1/7 scale Frieren figure is a refined addition to any collection.
Fans of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will definitely want to add this beautifully crafted figure to their shelves. From the expressive sculpt to the graceful pose, Kotobukiya’s Frieren is a must-have for collectors who appreciate elegance and accuracy.
