Goku – Two Percent Studio
Goku – Two Percent Studio: Long before we had Dragon Ball Super, which we see the main characters reaching new forms to godlike levels, we had Dragon Ball GT, where things were a bit different. In the first few episodes, we see the protagonist Goku training his new apprentice, Uub (who is a reincarnation of the evil Kid Buu). Suddenly, he received a visit from his old enemies, Emperor Pilaf, Mai, and Shu of the Red Ribbon Army. They were looking for the Black Star Dragon Balls, which they were stopped by Goku. In the midst of all this, Pilaf mistakenly made a wish – to make Goku a kid again, to which he got it. With Goku now a kid, he embarks on a journey to find the Dragon Balls to be his adult self again, setting off the events of Dragon Ball GT.
The new Little Goku model has attracted a lot of attention, especially due to its 1/4 scale. Standing at about 39cm tall, it’s perfect for home decoration. Two Percent Studio did an excellent job creating this figure. It’s particularly great for display in front of rows of figurine cabinets, as a larger model can highlight the collection. Even if it’s not the centerpiece of a figurine room, it’s an excellent choice for room decoration.
After all, such an adorable Little Goku figure would look great anywhere! Focusing on the model itself, the enlarged scale leaves no room for sloppy details. The head sculpt, hair texture, and clothing details are all highly faithful to the manga. There are also two color schemes available. The hands-on-hips pose means you don’t have to worry about accidentally breaking any parts, making it a very considerate design.
Although GT has been largely overshadowed by Super, it did have its great moments. If you’re a fan of this underrated series, this Goku figure is worth considering!
