The story of Burateba is about an ordinary 19-year otaku (only known as Pig) who, after eating some pork liver, falls into a state of unconsciousness. He wakes up to find himself in another world. Unlike other isekai anime, our protagonist doesn’t turn into a powerful knight with practically unlimited abilities. Instead, he becomes a pig (hence the name of the title). During the man’s strange journey, he stumbles upon a girl by the name of Jess. Unlike the other denizens of this world who wants to eat our pig, Jess is able to understand him. With a new resolve, Jess helps out the pig so he can turn back into a human.
