The Steins;Gate series tells the story of self-proclaimed Mad Scientist, Okabe Rintaro (or Okarin) who runs secret laboratory in his apartment. Joining this crazy circus are his friends, Mayuri Shiina and Daru, often trying out crazy experiments in the name of science. During a conference about time travel, he finds a young girl, who was murdered in cold blood. That young girl happens to be Makise Kurisu. Soon after, he begins experiencing strange occurrences of time travel, finding Makise alive and well. Together with the help of Okabe and his friends, Makise Kurisu, the newest lab member in their group (Lab Member 004, Christina), must work together to solve this unusual phenomenon, thus setting the events of Steins;Gate!
