Portgas Ace – BT Studio: Portgas D. Ace, a character in the Japanese manga “One Piece” and its derivative works. He is the sworn brother of Sabo and Monkey D. Luffy. His original name is Gol D. Ace, and he is the illegitimate son of “Pirate King” Gol D. Roger. As he grew up, he developed a strong hatred for his father and changed his surname to his mother’s, Portgas D. Rouge.
At the age of 17, Ace set sail with the goal of becoming the “Pirate King” and founded the Spade Pirates, gaining fame throughout the world. He rejected the invitation to become one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea issued by the World Government. After being defeated by Whitebeard, he was convinced by him and became the second division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. Later, he was defeated by Blackbeard and imprisoned by the Marines in Impel Down, becoming the catalyst for the “Battle of Marineford.”
During the “Battle of Marineford,” Ace protected Luffy by using his body to block an attack from Admiral Akainu, which left him in a critically wounded state. Before dying, he realized the meaning of his birth and left a final blessing for Luffy before passing away with a smile.
The figure details, including the hairstyle and facial features, faithfully follow the animation’s design. Upon closer inspection, the clarity of the muscular lines allows for a more vivid appreciation of each muscle. Overall, the figure’s details are excellently crafted.
The abdominal muscles are sculpted with stretched muscle lines and include skin texture details. The details of the pants are well-controlled, with impressive layering in the paintwork and a strong sense of leg muscle definition.
The muscle lines are full and aesthetically pleasing. The sculpting of the arm muscles is well-done, clearly depicting the contraction of engorged muscles. The skin paintwork is realistic, and the facial sculpting is finely detailed and worth admiring.
