Rei Ayanami – DreamX Studio: DreamX Studio has released the second figure in their Evangelion Mecha Girl lineup, following Asuka Langley. The new release is Rei Ayanami figure, now available for pre-order. It comes with both short and long hair head sculpts, and the rear view of the figure highlights some striking curves!
This mecha Rei Ayanami figure is 1/6 scale and stands 28 cm tall. The design combines the armor of the EVA Unit-00 with the body of a girl, appealing to both mecha enthusiasts and fans of the goddess-like face sculpt. It’s a fresh and innovative take on the character.
The Studio’s previous Asuka figure had a highly accurate head sculpt, and this Rei Ayanami figure is expected to meet fans’ expectations as well! The figure includes a helmet resembling the head of the EVA Unit-00, which can be held like a motorcycle helmet, giving Rei a valiant, knight-like appearance.
In addition to the classic short-haired version, there’s also a long-haired head sculpt available. The long-haired version of Rei adds a touch of mature femininity, with flowing hair that enhances her graceful allure.
From the back view, the only part not covered by armor is the perfectly shaped, lifted buttocks. The effect of the black bodysuit adds an extra layer of allure.
This Rei Ayanami figure is expected to be released mid to late 2025. If you are a fan of Evangelion, you may want to keep your eyes on this figure!
