Retsu Unohana – NIREN Studio: From a cool and tough girl to a gentle older sister, the first shinigami to hold the title of “Kenpachi” – Retsu Unohana from “Bleach”. NIREN Studio has recently announced this amazing Retsu Unohana figure!
Retsu Unohana was the captain of the Fourth Division of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads, and one of the four captains with the longest tenure. Skilled in the healing art of Kido, Retsu was once known as the most evil person in the history of the Soul Society before being recruited by Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni to become the captain of the Eleventh Division of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads. Later on, she transferred to the Fourth Division and also served as the chairperson of the Women’s Shinigami Association.
In “Bleach”, Retsu Unohana is the captain of the Fourth Division’s medical team, with a usually smiling face that makes her difficult to read in the early episodes of the anime, much to the curiosity of the fans.
Most people who initially chose the path of healing were those who lacked combat talent, had a heart for helping others, or wanted to protect their comrades. However, Captain Retsu is not like that at all!
In the world of the Soul Society, the abilities of Shinigami are divided into Zanjutsu (swordsmanship), Kidō (magic), and Hohō (movement), among which Hohō is commonly known as the healing ability. The reason why our Captain Restu initially learned Hohō was simply to enjoy the thrill of battle more, and to be able to recover from her own injuries and continue fighting.
This work is from the “Blood War” arc. The blade of the Zanpakuto will seep blood and the blade can be extended and curved. The blade and surrounding environment will seep a large amount of blood, creating a terrifying scene. It seems that the blade can melt and decay the body of the person it cuts.
The details of her facial features and hairstyle follow the animation design, with her hair appearing to be flowing. The coat, in addition to some wrinkles, is painted with shadows to enrich the texture.
The Shinigami skull on the platform also has a very realistic texture in terms of color, and the number “4” on the skull corresponds to the squad.
With its intricately detailed and beautiful appearance, this Retsu Unohana figure is a must own for Bleach fans!
