Shimotsuki Ryuma – Jinghong Studio: Shimotsuki Ryuma, a character from the Japanese manga “One Piece” and its derivative works. During the Wano Country’s “Land of Gold” era, he was a master swordsman who never tasted defeat in his lifetime. He was also known as the legendary dragon-slaying samurai and was revered in later generations as the “God of the Blade.”
23 years ago, his body and sword, Shusui, were stolen by Gecko Moria under the moonlight and turned into a zombie. His shadow was later placed inside Brook. He was defeated in a battle with Roronoa Zoro and, in the end, after gifting Shusui, he purified himself through self-immolation, and his shadow returned to Brook.
During the “Land of Gold” era in the Wano Country, he was a master swordsman, a legendary dragon-slaying samurai who never tasted defeat in his lifetime, and was revered as the “God of the Blade” in later generations. He is the direct ancestor of the original Wano Country’s Ringo daimyo Shimotsuki Ushimaru and the Straw Hat Pirates’ combatant Roronoa Zoro.
His hair is white, he has no eyes or nose, and his body is covered in bandages with visible signs of stitching. He wears a blue scarf, a white kimono with the character “龍” (dragon) written on both sleeves, a blue sash with vortex patterns tied around his waist, and traditional Japanese wooden clogs.
He wields the sword Shusui, one of the Twenty-One Great Grade Swords, known for its reversed guard and black-bladed jagged edge. It is a “Black Blade” that Ryuma forged through countless battles, and even if a dinosaur stepped on it, it wouldn’t bend. This sword is a national treasure of Wano, and Ryuma entrusted it to Zoro after losing to him.
Shimotsuki Ryuma, during the “Land of Gold” era in Wano Country hundreds of years ago, was a master swordsman who could cut down any opponent in the blink of an eye, undefeated in his entire life. He thwarted countless pirates and world nobles who came to the country, making the whole world aware of the existence of warriors in Wano. He has many legends associated with him, including slaying a dragon that once flew over the capital city. After his death, Ryuma was revered as the “God of the Blade” in Wano and enshrined in a shrine alongside the famous sword “Shusui.”
