The female protagonist, Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, in “Jigokuraku,” comes from the Yamada family, known for their execution skills, and is the executioner. Initially feeling lost due to her identity as an executioner, she harbors fear, and despite having top-notch sword skills, she cannot execute beheadings sharply. As she spends time with Gabimaru, she comes to accept herself and find the path she should follow.
The F:NEX “Yamada Asaemon Sagiri” 1/7 scale model has a total height of about 23.5 centimeters, faithfully reproducing the white-based ceremonial attire, tied-up long hair, and flowing red hairband with detailed modeling and painting. Although the overall design adopts a dignified upright posture, the action of holding the knife, combined with the slashing special effect pieces around, creates a sense of swiftly swinging a sharp knife! The sharp gaze, along with the dignified expression and slightly tilted head, is very charming. Care has also been taken in small details such as the blade and hilt of the knife.
