Myethos recently released a set of ASK original illustrations featuring EVA “Flower Language” Rei Ayanami and Asuka Langley Soryu, both dressed in formal dresses, looking very charming and alluring. These two goddesses can be displayed separately or combined for exhibition.
This set of figurines is inspired by the language of flowers. The perfume lilies next to Rei Ayanami and the butterfly orchids next to Asuka Langley Soryu perfectly match the colors of their formal dresses, creating a dreamy and pure atmosphere throughout the entire color scheme.
Rei Ayanami’s kneeling pose and dark purple long skirt exude elegance and tranquility. Not only does it highlight her noble temperament, but it also complements her fair and translucent skin, creating a delicate and ethereal appearance.
Rei Ayanami, as depicted by ASK, has a more refined makeup look, and her facial expression carries a hint of contemplation. The depiction of the light in her pupils is very delicate, conveying both elegance and a youthful spirit.
From a side view, Rei Ayanami’s slim figure is very endearing. Although her chest is not large, the graceful curve of the fabric in front of her chest is very charming.
Rei Ayanami’s slender jade arms and the smooth and delicate skin on her back are worth admiring. I personally enjoy the slightly sexy style of Rei Ayanami depicted by ASK.
The dress worn by Rei Ayanami is made of transparent material and coated with pearl glitter. The folds of the dress reflect light similar to satin, and the scattered sparkles on the hem of the dress resemble stars, creating a beautiful effect.
The high-heeled shoes with rose embellishments, the delicate and elegant lily flowers, and other details of the figurine are all worth savoring.
The other figurine, Asuka Langley Soryu, is dressed in a vibrant and romantic pink butterfly orchid, which perfectly showcases her personality. The bright pink contrasts sharply with the elegant and intellectual dark purple of Rei Ayanami.
As ASK’s favorite character, this Asuka Langley Soryu figurine exudes an air of aristocracy, as if she were a highborn lady. Her movements and gestures are less lively and spirited, which enhances her noble and elegant demeanor.
Asuka Langley Soryu’s dress is adorned with pearls, and the multi-layered transparent fabric of the skirt creates a gorgeous yet not overly heavy effect.
The puffy sleeves paired with a pure white mini dress evoke a sense of innocent and pure youthful energy. The transparent gradient and pearl-coated edges of the skirt add a touch of subtle sophistication to the outfit.
The delicate little red shoes complement the white and smooth skin of the figurine, and they are one of the few accessories that give a sense of warmth to this Asuka Langley Soryu figurine.
The base of the figurine features Asuka Langley Soryu’s name in English, and the metallic outer frame and transparent glass texture of the pedestal are also very elegant.
That’s right! When the scenes of both characters are combined, they perfectly recreate the composition of ASK’s original artwork, as seen from the front. It’s a really great display piece for fans of these characters and ASK’s art.
