Ludens Astronaut Monster Studio
Monster-Studio has released a Ludens astronaut statue designed by Hideo Kojima’s studio. The statue stands at a height of 136 cm with a 1/2 scale, which is very impressive. The design of Ludens has been updated by the studio, and it looks more sleek and agile compared to the original design. The flag in the original design has been replaced by a huge cannon, which gives it a more aggressive look.
This Ludens astronaut monster studio has a slightly evil aura due to the high shoulders and the skull-like appearance of the helmet. The armor has a worn and battle-damaged look, indicating that Ludens is a combatant. The details of the spacesuit are well-crafted, with a mix of cold, technological textures and some organic muscle-like textures, particularly visible on the torso, chest, and armpit areas. 
The skull under the helmet has a terrifying and menacing look, like a white undead creature wandering in the cold and dark space. Ludens carries a giant cannon and a survival backpack on his back, which suggests that he can deploy attacks on his own during combat. The two fuel rods at his waist and the mechanical effects on his legs are also well-crafted. 
The fuel rod interface has a very intricate mechanical structure. Ludens also carries a metal sphere on his left shoulder, which appears to serve as an auxiliary role like the support drones in NieR. The gold-colored sphere on his shoulder also has a shape resembling an antenna or a swept-wing, which could be deployed as a drone during battles.
The Ludens astronaut statue, designed by Hideo Kojima’s studio and produced by Monster-Studio, is limited to 60 units, with a price of 7880 yuan. The expected delivery date is the second quarter of next year, and it can be purchased through the “Just a Toy” store on Taobao (orders can be placed at any time).
